Jennifer Aniston is an advertising executive who gets passed over for promotion because she does not have a husband + car + house + mortgage. She makes up a story that she has a boy friend (Jay Mohr) who she met at a wedding, but who lives out of town. This impresses her boss and meanwhile she starts an affair with Kevin Bacon. Things get complicated when Jay Mohr appears on TV and is invited to meet her work colleagues. This is an entertaining romantic comedy with a good performance from Jennifer Aniston.
